When the autoclave is properly functioning, the spores will be killed by the heat and the paper will remain white. If the spores are not killed, the paper will turn blue.

Do not use the test pack if the seal is broken or if the paper is damaged.
Dispose of the test pack in accordance with biohazard procedures.
